American Red Cross

Thanks to Victoria Ten Broeck of the American Red Cross, Savannah Chapter, for sharing their good works with us at our November luncheon. All came away with a better understanding of how the Red Cross serves our community in times of need. 

We may even have a few new volunteers for them!

Our October meeting will be at a special date and place. The Georgia Ports Authority will host us on Friday October 28th for a luncheon and port tours. Additionally, GPA Executive Director Griff Lynch will address our group on the exciting happenings in our ports. Events begin at noon at the GPA Annex 2 building in Garden City.  Proceeds from the Inaugural Maritime Community Charity Golf Tournament will go
toward funding the Maritime Logistics Education Taskforce -MLET- scholarship opportunities and marketing material to further improve the quality of the logistics job 
force and internships in Georgia.
Four Person Scramble

Tournament Rules of Play
  • Tournament format is a four person Captain's Choice.
  • The team captain will choose the ball that lies in the best position and all members will play from that point. The process is repeated until the ball is holed out.
  • Through the green, players must play within one club length of the chosen ball, no closer to the hole.
  • On the putting green, players must play from within one putter head length of the chosen ball, no closer to the hole.
TEES: All Gentlemen will play from the Silver Tees.
            All Ladies will play from the Jade Tees.
